Len Thompson

I’m a native of Marietta, Georgia and have been doing hair in the Atlanta area since 1990, working for Van Michael Salons for 20 of those years. During my time at Van Michael, I helped open salons in Virginia Highlands, Sandy Springs, The Forum in Peachtree Corners and The Avenues in East Cobb. I spent eight years as the Director of Education and was in charge of all in-house training for Van Michael Salons. I also spent over a decade on the company’s Artistic team doing Hair Shows, Photo Shoots and advanced training all over the world. During that time I was nominated for two NAHA awards. I have a passion for local history, which can be seen in the decor of Lenny’s Hair Salon. When I’m not in the salon working I can be found running the trails at Kennesaw Mountain. I’m a proud member of Atlanta’s GUTS running club. Things I love are my family, which includes my wife  and two daughters, and our passion for all things Disney.

I’m excited to bring my knowledge of the hair industry to the Historic Square in Marietta, and I feel blessed to be able to provide an atmosphere of creativity and growth for my extremely talented staff.
